What age groups can participate?
Children aged 5 to 17 years old are welcome to join Albury Little Athletics.
When are the training sessions held?
Training sessions are held every Wednesday from 5 pm to 6 pm at the Les O’Brien Athletics Precinct. All age groups are welcome to attend.
What equipment do we need?
Basic athletic wear and running shoes are required. All other equipment to participate is provided by the centre. Athletes are able to purchase uniforms.
How do I register my child?
You can register online through the links on our website or visit www.lavic.com.au
Are there any membership fees?
Yes, there is an annual membership fee of $140 which covers training sessions, centre competitions, and insurance.
Can parents volunteer?
Absolutely! We encourage parents to get involved as volunteers to help with events and training. We are always welcoming anyone who would like to join our committee also.
What if my child has never done athletics before?
No experience is necessary. Our coaches are trained to help beginners and make sure everyone has fun.
Where are the competitions held?
Weekly competition is held at the Les O’Brien Athletics Precinct, Albury.
