Upcoming Open Day Carnivals
Other Little Athletics Centres host Open Day carnivals throughout the season that our members are able to attend. Athletes are able to compete in a competiton atmosphere where medals/ribbons or trophies are awarded to placegetters. Entry requirements vary but are usually through your athletes resultshq portal. There are costs involved to enter and also varies depending on the centre hosting. Centre uniform and your name patch are required to attend these events also. These are an optional activity to attend but are a great way to make connections with other centres and athletes and are usually the place where life long friendships are formed. It is a condition of entry to each carnival that parents will help with duties throughout the day. These are usually shared amongst the families that go so everyone has a turn. These jobs are allocated by the host of the carnival.
Lockhart Open Day Carnival
Lockhart is hosting their annual Open Day, the first of the season. It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn about how Open Days operate in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Entry is manual – submit your entries to the centre and pay entry fee at the officials building.
